Imagine being able to play quicker, stronger, faster and more confident! Speed, Strength, Cardiovascular and Agility Training Program
Our Ground Based Training program is designed to provide the athlete with improvements in:
SPEED
AGILITY
OVERALL STRENGTH and CORE STRENGTH
BALANCE and COORDINATION
CORRECT BIO MECHANICS of RUNNING
JUMPING and LANDING MECHANICS
DECREASING THE RISK OF LOWER EXTREMITY INJURY
IMPROVE SELF CONFIDENCE
We will teach the athlete the correct bio-mechanics and fundamentals of athletic movement. This aids the athlete in becoming the best athlete they can be. Teaching the correct mechanics of Jumping and Landing assist in helping to reduce the risk of an injury to the lower extremity and in particular the knee joint. This is accomplished by the athlete learning to better control their body and land in the appropriate anatomic position.
The Core Development section is designed with the focus about the low back, abdomen and hip girdle. It provides functional dynamic development of the musculature about the athlete’s center of gravity.
The exercises provide concentric, eccentric, isometric and velocity specific muscle contractions.
Speed and Plyometric drills will be central to the program.
The training sessions will run for 5 weeks, 2 times a week.
Ages 13 to 18: Tuesday and Thursday from 10am til 11:15am
Ages 8 to 12: Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30am til 12:45pm
Starting Tuesday July 11th and ending Thursday August 10th.
Program Cost is $149 per athlete
